foxglove

Isn't this the prettiest colorway?  It's Madelinetosh's foxglove (merino ~ sport weight.)   I have three skeins in my stash ... more than enough for the current project, perhaps some Duckies and (?)

Swatching this month has led to a pattern which I hope to publish soon.
The alpaca is all spun up.  I ended up with an additional 600 yards (this time a 2-ply black/silver yarn.)

I'm enjoying knitting and spinning from my stash this year.  But it is difficult, given the fact that The Loopy Ewe has re-located to a 15 minute drive from our home.  It's fun to stop in there now and then to see the extraordinary yarn on hand.  And what a collection of addi circulars!  You can find any size and any length right there on the display!  The staff is so friendly and they love putting little "extras" in the shopping bag... even when all you purchase is a small package of knitting needles.

I just drooled all over my screen! That color is insane! Good call.

What lovely colors. I really like the little heart stitch marker for February. :-)

Oooh, I haven't seen this color in my LYS but will perhaps order it online? I love it -- and the name, too.

Yarn 15 minutes away? Oh, I can't imagine. My drive is close to an hour. Probably just as well I can't go too often.

Can't wait to see the new pattern.
