It is stunning! It's very cheerful and I think you'll be able to wear it during several (maybe all, depending on how hot it gets there) seasons.
You know I love this, the yarn and the color just bring this pattern to life. You friend is going to look smashing in this. Wow does that shawl ever brighten up a day.
